The Premier Mill Hotel has the exciting spaces, the food & beverage and the team to bring your individual special occasion to life. Within our old Mill we have a range of spaces that can cater from ten through to a sit down meal for 120 guests.

The Boardroom

Our boardroom can cater for a sit-down meeting for twelve. The room features fast, secure wi-fi, a large display screen for presentations and plenty of power and connectivity ports. We are able to service this room from the Dôme Café or Cordial Bar.

We understand and appreciate the amount of work, planning, preparation and collaboration that occurs both beforehand and behind the scenes, for our guests to receive a seamless, relaxed, attentive quality experience on the night. Your patience, co-operation, attention to detail and customer service was fantastic.

Round the AGA

An AGA oven was once the heart of many an old home and so it is here at the Premier Mill hotel. Situated on the Upper Ground level of the Premier Mill Hotel, the long table next to our AGA is designed for sit down dinners for up twelve, or stand-up cocktail functions and tastings for up to thirty. Functions around the AGA can enjoy the use of the oven for the preparation and serving of food directly to your table.

All our comments and feedback from our guests about everything has been extremely positive and appreciative, there were many superlatives including amazing! extraordinary! unexpected! The best thing for us though was that everyone had such a good time; there was genuine and unrestricted enjoyment made possible by the atmosphere, environment, attentive service and quality food that you guys created.

The Cordial Bar

Down below street level in the Mill we think we’ve got the best small bar in the Great Southern. The Cordial Bar can be used to entertain up to fifty in relaxed, intimate luxury.

Please accept and pass on our gratitude and congratulations to your team, it was a marvellous effort and they should be proud. Particular kudos and praise and thanks to the Chef and his team in the kitchen, clearly a master of his art, all three courses were sensational.

The Deli Room

Designed to accommodate a stand-up function for 50 or sit down for up to 30, the Deli Room may be your simple, understated venue of choice. Named the Deli Room in honour of the corner deli business that utilised this space for many years, it is situated at the end of the alfresco dining area of the Dome Café. It can be accessed either through the café or via a second, more private entrance off Clive Street.

The Loading Dock

The perfect setting for a stand up canape function, welcome reception or cocktail party for up to 100. Muted lighting, flexible furniture arrangements, the warm ambience of an open fire, high ceilings and the ability to add audio-visual elements into the mix make The Loading Dock at The Premier Mill Hotel an ideal stand-up venue. Combine The Loading Dock with another of our venue spaces for the ultimate event.

The Old Power Station

For the larger function why not consider the Old Power Station at The Premier Mill Hotel? Located inside the building which powered both the Premier Flour Mill and the Town of Katanning for decades, it is our largest function room. At over 200sqm, it is large enough for a sit down function for up to 120 Guests. Featuring its own dedicated street-front entrance, a separate fully equipped kitchen, separate toilets, full A/V facilities, large loading bay for easy bump-in and bump-out and many other features, it is the ultimate large function space.
