"I do a lot of work around Katanning and the Great Southern. Its great to have a comfortable and friendly place to stay. My stay at the Premier Mill Hotel started with a friendly welcome. I was shown to my room, facilities explained and a clear and genuine offer to call staff if I needed anything. The rooms are simple, modern, cosy and quiet. The amenities are amazing; fantastic shower and huge TV with AV connection so I could plug in my laptop. The Guest Valet room and book collection is great and the sitting room is superb."

The mix of old and new throughout is a pleasure to behold, not unlike staying in a museum. The rooms themselves are faultless. The staff are friendly accommodating and for some reason, always smiling. I dare say if I had to stay overnight within 100 miles of Katanning, this would be my destination.

It is not often you get to stay in a museum in which none of the creature comforts have been sacrificed – deluxe indeed. The cellar bar was intimate and atmospheric. "On check-in we were immediately aware of the clever use of space and light in the lobby and a warm fire on a cold wet day! We have been blown away by the authenticity of the whole building and how comfortable spaces have been created out of the industrial fabric. The fit out is impressive and very modern with a comfortable bed and excellent shower. The retention of all the machinery incorporated into the whole renovation conveys a deep sense of history without over-the-top distraction."
